This is an English poem which reveals its own story, so I don't need to tell you why it was written. I can only say that it was written by Arabic person. I hope you enjoy it and I apologise for those who have seen it before and for those who don't understand English

I have to be realistic
No any more optimistic
Your love was my futuristic
However; it was really tragic
When you said ‘ I’m materialistic ’
You are Arab where is your logic
I said according to statistics
Arabs are more romantic
As you know my characteristic
I’m not individualistic
Nor socialistic
I was optimistic
And I will regard your love as a mistake
...........as a mistake
